Using TheWeddingInvite.app

These terms apply whenever you use TheWeddingInvite.app, whether you are building an invitation, sharing one or replying to one. By using it, you agree to them.

You need to be at least 16 to build an invitation. Please give us accurate details, and use the service lawfully and kindly.

To publish, you sign in with Google or with a link we email you. Keep access to that email safe, because whoever can sign in with it can change your invitation and read its replies.

Your invitation is yours

Everything you add to your invitation, from your names and your story to your photos, stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it and deliver it to the people you share your link with, only so that we can run your invitation.

Please add only what you have the right to use. Do not use an invitation for anything unlawful, hateful or misleading, or to pretend to be someone else. We may take down an invitation that breaks these terms.

Our designs

Our designs, artwork, music library and code belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own invitation. Please do not copy them for anything else.

Free to build, pay once to share

Building and previewing an invitation is free. To publish it and share it with guests, you pay once for the plan you choose. There is no subscription.

• Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars, or in Indian rupees for visitors in India. Every payment is taken in US dollars by Stripe, our payment provider; in India we show the rupee price and the dollar amount it is charged as before you pay, and your bank converts it.
• Early bird prices apply for a limited time and are shown wherever they apply. Discount codes are entered on the payment page, one per payment, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• For Custom and Bespoke invitations, we agree the details with you before work begins. Bespoke starts at the price shown, and we confirm the final price with you before you pay anything more.
• Once your invitation is live, you can change it as often as you like at no extra cost.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund for any reason within 7 days of paying, from Your invitations, and it is done straight away. Your invitation then stops being live and its link and replies are removed; your draft stays in your account. After 7 days, if your invitation does not work as described and we cannot put it right, write to support@theweddinginvite.app and we will refund you in full. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 days. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the consumer law where you live.

How long your invitation stays live

Your invitation stays live at its link for at least 12 months after the date of your last event. You can ask us to take it down sooner at any time.

Guests and replies

Replies from your guests are for you, and appear in your account. You decide who receives your link, so please share it only with the people you are inviting, and use their replies only to plan your wedding.

Keeping the service running

We work hard to keep TheWeddingInvite.app available and your invitation working, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance. We may improve or change features over time.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us for your invitation. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using TheWeddingInvite.app at any time, and delete your account from Your invitations. That deletes your invitation, its link and its replies at once. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell couples with a published invitation by email before it takes effect.
